Getting There

Location

The festival is held in the Ploughman Hall on West Fen Road in Willingham.

Travel

The village has a relatively inadequate bus service in the form of stops on the Citi 5 Route from Stagecoach. There are services that could get you to Willingham from Cambridge, Oakington, Bar Hill, Swavsey, or Fenstanton on Thursday and Friday afternoon but no evening return service. On Saturday there are services that could get you to Willingham around noon and return services 16:21 and 18:19 in Fenstanton direction and 15:40 and 17:40 in Cambridge direction.

A later running service is via the Busway stop at Longstanton which is a 2 mile (30-40 minute walk) from the festival location, this also has a Sunday service.

It’s also easy to cycle to via the Busway from Cambridge (~55 mins) or St Ives (~45 mins) and then up the road from Longstanton busway stop. (It’s quite a nice bike ride!)

There are also taxi services of course.

Staying

There are three caravan/camping options nearby:

  • Longview – very small site – in the village, a short walk to the festival
  • Roseberry Tourist Park – a larger site which is located half way between Willingham and Erith Bridge, it’s a 1.5 mile walk via the B1050 which has no footway so caution in walking is advised.
  • Cuckoo Fen Campsite – more tent camping oriented, or small vans, this site is accessible via an off-road and back-road 2 mile walking route.

There are B&B options too:

And also lots of nearby options in other villages and towns – loads in Cambridge of course.
